Fotografii de Brancusi
O premiera pentru Romania: Muzeul National de Arta ofera o expozitie a fotografiilor lui Brancusi. Expozitia este deschisa pina la 15 octombrie.

In 1905, ajutat si sfatuit de Man Ray, Brancusi a invatat fotografie. In anul urmator si-a prezentat prima expozitie, fotografiile sale fiind expuse, in 1914, la Galeria 291 a lui Alfred Stieglitz din New York. Prin aceste imagini arata adesea etapele muncii sale: fiecare pas, fiecare modificare merita imortalizata. Contemporanii sai, multi dintre ei fiindu-i prieteni apropiati, i-au criticat uneori arta fotografica: pentru Man Ray, fotografiile sculptorului erau fie supraexpuse, fie subexpuse. Brassai spunea ca Brancusi nu fotografia foarte bine, iar Edward Steichen a ignorat multa vreme activitatea fotografica a artistului.
