Tot despre soare
Julien Green pomenea de puterea magica a unei raze de soare pe un perete in pictura lui Pieter de Hoogh, tablou vazut intr-o expozitie olandeza la Paris. M-am simt de-a dreptul jignita. Pentru ca de cand ma stiu imi zornaie in cap numai raze de soare, moi si dolofane, subtiri si ascutite ca niste ace, alunecoase de nu poti sa le prinzi cu mana si de alte nenumarate si nenumite feluri, mi s-a parut o mare impertinenta ca acest Pieter de Hoogh si-a permis sa picteze fara sa-mi ceara voie. N-are relevanta ca s-a nascut, a trait si-a murit inainte de a fi aparut eu pe lume.
Apoi intr-o dupa-amiaza de culoarea compotului de caise, stand la masa unei cafenele mirositoare a tutun, tei, boabe macinate, chelner si tutun, ochii mi-au cazut pe pagina unui reviste literare in care se lafaiau intocmai aceste cuvinte, scrise inainte de razboi de un anumit Dan Faur: Cat de tare rumeneste lumina care parca joaca in aer, in roiurile de albine care nu se vad.
In aceeasi pagina se mai pomenea ceva de niste picioare paroase, bretele si izmene, de-o servitoare chicotitoare ce spala spinarea unui grasun trandafiriu, ceea ce nu mai avea deloc legatura cu lumina de pe strada pe care incerc s-o prind si s-o bag in aparat; cu sila daca altfel nu se poate, desi n-ai cum sa-i inhati fasiile cu degetele si sa le lipesti pe poze cu lipici, miere, ori cu pasta din faina inmuiata in apa. Doar un nebun ar putea sa creada ca razele care se prabusesc pe banci, ostenite, se pastreaza si la borcan cu filet, din care iti iei cate iti trebuie pentru fotografii si-apoi pui capacul la loc. Unui asemenea lunatic i-as spune sa-si vada de alte treburi mai serioase. Nu. Nu se pot baga nici in buzunare si nici in rucsace.
